thank you to those who took the time out to share a story of someone in need with me. i couldn’t make the decision on my own so i gathered a panel of judges – mom, sister and a handful of friends, some of which are photographers too! no one chose just one… so tallies were added and it was close. so close that the runner up will also receive a session and print credit. to be sensitive to these families stories, they will be contacted privately. i am looking forward to spending time capturing new families!

in between baby sessions with maggie, i pulled her 4 year old cutie in front of the camera. she makes it look easy, huh!? well, i just got extremely blessed in literally ONE minute of her attention. {between 11:36:58 and 11:37:51 to be exact!} i HEART these images! miss you peach! and little man too.

You know someone who’s experienced a tragedy, is struggling to stay afloat, is raising kids while holding down more than one job, or is volunteering selflessly despite extenuating personal circumstances. You know someone who can’t afford custom photography, but who would cherish it this holiday season. You know someone who deserves a year-round reminder of their family’s spirit, love, and beauty.

I want to know who they are, and I want to give them the chance to experience complimentary custom photography – $1500 worth, to be exact. They will receive a session with me, a set of 4X6 prints and a complete collection of digital images. It’s in your power to give them the artwork they deserve this holiday season.

Oh, and the best part? The person who nominates the winner receives a session too! (valued at $275). What better reason to show some love could there possibly be, people?

* You cannot nominate yourself, and the person nominated must sincerely be incapable of purchasing my services. (Being unable to make mortgage payments for a two-million-dollar-vacation-home in Paris does not qualify as sincere financial need.)

* The nominee must reside in whatcom county or be willing to travel to me. Tell me who you know, what they’re experiencing, and why they deserve my artwork. Please include a way to contact both your nominee and yourself as well.

i’m in phoenix hanging out with maggie for a long weekend. today was my first full day here and it was just that… full. we started with back to back cuteness. here is a little teaser of model number one! we ended the day with a fabulously relaxing dinner with tami. what a blast.

i was giddy when i drove by those colorful barrels! (i don’t know why i’ve never seen them before!) ah, this gorgeous family. i’m telling you, these 3 kiddos could not be more loved. can you feel it?
